Maria Pronin – was born in 1994 in Moscow. By first education – a ballet dancer. Graduated from the faculty of journalism at Moscow State University, studied creative and video production at the Wordshop academy, and directing at the Moscow Film School. She works in the field of video production as a director of feature films, documentaries, commercial videos and music videos.

In 2020, she made her debut short film "Rain or Wind", selected for Russian and foreign film festivals. In 2021, she released her documentary «Gazing through touch», participated in festivals «VERZIÓ International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival», «Liberation Docfest Bangladesh», «Social World Film Festival», «We care Film Fest»,«8 woman Film Festival» and many others.

Maria loves artistic and acting realism in feature and commercial works, and artistry – in documentaries. In music videos she likes to dream and do the opposite – to stay far from realistic meanings, to go into metaphors. In general, it is important for Maria to have meaning and a human story at the core of each of her work.

She communicates in a friendly manner with clients and artists, at the same time she knows how to push her ideas through authority and reasonable suggestions, as well as find compromises without affecting the quality of the video. Maria's artistic vision was strongly influenced by her ballet studies. It gave her a strong sense of geography and choreography for mise-en-scène and camera movement, and of course she does great choreography for her music videos herself.
